Reduce, Reuse, Recycle

“Reduce, Reuse, Recycle”

In the coming weeks, Cafe Rico Customers will notice a small but important addition to their Packaging – a sticker indicating that the Box has been previously used. In line with our Green Policy, Cafe Rico Deliveries have always carefully packed orders using a previously used box. This not only helps us reduce our Carbon Footprint, but helps us maintain a positive You order will still arrive on time and in pristine condition and feel free to reuse the box. Using a recycled material, rather than a raw material conserves energy and natural resources and helps reduce pollution. Making the pulp used in cardboard creates sulphur dioxide, a gas that causes acid rain. Recycling cardboard cuts that pollution in half. Paper fibres from corrugated boxes are long and strong. They can be used many times reducing the need to cut down trees. Preserving forests benefits our rivers and lakes by preventing erosion, improves the air we breathe by removing carbon dioxide, adds to the beauty of our surroundings and can save the homes of many different types of wildlife. We also recycle our Customers Coffee Podsclick here for more information.
